Hi and Welcome to my blog! When we took the bold step of moving to Canada from India, I decided to record our experiences here to help others who are planning to make the big move too. You may find something helpful, informative or just plain amusing. Comments are appreciated, but if you want a reply please email me at: chutney2maplesyrup@gmail.com (I will answer all emails privately) Thanks for Reading!!

Still green and holding on.........
Here are two trees just outside our home. As they were still green, I thought I'd take a picture of them and watch as the tree sheds its leaves and goes through the seasonal change. I'll keep taking pictures of the same trees and show you as the leaves change color
and eventually fall off.

It's actually spelled 'colour' in Canada. It's the overwhelming influence of the USA, where it's spelled 'color', that has undermined our language.
There's lots of similar examples. In Canada the last letter of the alphabet is ZED, in America it's ZEE.
Hi Al and thanks for your comment! I went to an American school for years and still find spellings of different words as confusing as the way they are pronounced!
